Open the Pets tab and tap +. The free version holds one pet; PetPill Pro holds as many as you have.

Tap + on Today and choose Add Medication, or open your pet and add it under Meds. Choose the type, the dose, how often and at what times.

Yes. Choose Just once when you add it and pick the date and time.

Check these four, in order:

1. iPhone Settings › Notifications › PetPill: Allow Notifications is on.
2. In PetPill, Settings › Notifications: All reminders is on, and so is the kind you're missing.
3. iPhone Settings › General › Background App Refresh is on for PetPill, so reminders stay scheduled while it's closed.
4. If you use a Focus, allow Time Sensitive notifications: dose reminders use them.

An iPhone app can only schedule a limited number of reminders ahead of time. PetPill tops them up every time you open it, so open it once and you're covered again.

Yes. Edit the medication and choose an early reminder, from 5 minutes to an hour before. You can keep a second one at the dose time too.

Yes. Press and hold the reminder and choose Mark as given, Remind in 15 min or Skip. You don't need to unlock your phone.

Open the Household tab, tap Invite on your pet's circle and send the link. Inviting needs PetPill Pro; joining is free. How household sharing works

Ask the owner to send a new invite from the Household tab, and check that you're signed in to iCloud on your iPhone.

Open the link again now that PetPill is installed. Or, on PetPill's first screen, tap I was invited to a household and paste the link.

In the Household tab, tap the person's face and choose Remove access. To leave a pet someone shared with you, tap Leave on its circle. Everything already logged keeps the name of whoever logged it.

PetPill saves your pets to your own iCloud account and keeps your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch in step. Without iCloud, PetPill still works on one iPhone, but nothing syncs and you can't share a pet.

Then nothing new can reach iCloud: your other devices and your household stop seeing changes. Free up space or upgrade your plan in Settings › Apple Account › iCloud, then reopen PetPill. Nothing you logged is lost; it uploads once there's room.

Sign in with the same Apple Account and install PetPill. It recognises you and brings your pets back from iCloud; it can take a minute or two.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions and choose PetPill. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

The yearly plan starts with 7 days free for new subscribers. PetPill reminds you 2 days before the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won't be charged.

In PetPill, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.

PetPill Pro covers everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group. Anyone else you share a pet with uses the free features on that pet.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

In your own iCloud account. A pet you share lives in your iCloud and the people you share it with read and write it there.

Delete a pet, medication or logged dose in the app and it's removed from iCloud too. To remove everything, delete your pets, or go to Settings › Apple Account › iCloud, open the storage list and delete PetPill's data.

Anonymous usage data that helps improve the app. Never your pets' names, your notes or your readings. The privacy policy lists all of it.
