Four steps, one link.
- Open the Household tab and tap Invite on your pet's circle.
- Send the link by Messages, Mail, or paste it into any chat.
- They open it on their iPhone. No PetPill yet? They install it, then open the link again, or tap I was invited to a household and paste it.
- Once they accept, they take a seat in your pet's circle.
Nobody guesses. Nobody double-doses.
Who gave what
Every dose, meal, visit and toilet trip wears the initials of whoever logged it. Tap them to see the name.
Reminders go quiet
When one of you gives a dose or feeds a meal, the reminder on everyone else's phone goes quiet.
Faces, not just letters
Each person can add a photo of themselves, so the badge on every dose shows their face.
A note on any dose
"Took it in cheese." "Spat half out." Add a note when you log, and everyone reads it.
Meals and chores too
Mark a meal fed or a chore done, and it's done for the whole household.
Sitters for the week
Invite a pet sitter while you're away, then remove their access when you're back.
Everyone helps. You stay the owner.
- Members see and log everything: medications, doses, vet visits, weight and the toilet log.
- Members can edit medications and appointments, and leave at any time.
- Only the owner can invite or remove people, stop sharing, or delete the pet.

Inviting needs PetPill Pro. Joining is free. One subscription covers your whole Apple Family Sharing group; outside the group, a member uses the free features on your pet.

Does the person I invite need PetPill Pro?
No. Inviting needs Pro; joining is free. A Pro subscription covers everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group. Outside the group, a member uses the free features on your pet.
Can I share a pet with a pet sitter?
Yes. Invite them like anyone else, and remove their access when you're back. The doses they logged keep their name.
The link says the item is unavailable. What now?
Ask the owner to open the pet in the Household tab and send a new invite. Make sure you're signed in to iCloud on your iPhone.
What happens if I leave a shared pet?
The pet disappears from your phone. Everything you logged stays in the pet's record, with your name on it.
Whose iCloud storage does a shared pet use?
The owner's. A shared pet lives in the owner's iCloud, and everyone's logs are saved there.
Does everyone need an iPhone?
Yes. Sharing works through iCloud, so everyone needs an iPhone or iPad signed in to iCloud. PetPill isn't available on Android.
